This guy’s hair. I know it’s weird. But, you know how sometimes you name a character and time passes, and you want to change their name for some reason, but they won’t allow it? It’s like the name is part of them already, and you can’t remove it without changing the character’s essence in some way. Same happended with Cyril’s hair.
