26th April Update:

Dear readers,

Some of you already know, but two unexpected things happened during this comic break: I was temporarily changed to do a longer shift at my day work, and I moved to a new home. Technically, I am still in the process of moving and I won’t be living in my new home until this weekend, when the phase of getting things out of boxes (things like my desktop and cintiq) and life back to normal will begin. Why am I explaining all this? Because even if I have tried my very best, I haven’t been able to create a buffer of pages in the last weeks. Good news is, I have written a lot of script and the process of editing the text for the printed version of the comic is going very well. Bad news is, realistically, I won’t be able to post a page until Thursday 17th of May.

Because I’m not sure how fast I will be able to work in the next weeks while this shift lasts, I can’t say for sure if I will be able to post every week so on the 17th I will let you know if I will be doing a 1 page a week schedule or a 1 page every other week schedule. I really don’t want to keep the break open, so I’ll do one of those two. Hopefully it will be 1 page a week straight away, but if it’s 1 page every other week I expect it to go back to the normal schedule very soon. I just want to be on the safe side.

Other than that, I hope you are all well and I miss posting and reading your comments and DRAWING (I miss drawing so much it hurts </3) But this Sunday hopefully I’ll be able to use my cintiq again! Thank you all for your patience!

22nd March 2018

Well, well.

Some of you might not be too surprised by these news if you follow me on twitter, but I’ve decided to take a month break from posting pages. The comic will be back on the 26th of April.

I’m sorry that this decision was so sudden, but I really think the comic will benefit from having a break like I did back in August. There’s just a lot I want to pay attention to right now and having a full time job doesn’t allow me to put enough time into everything. Pages aside, I’ve been trying to get chapter covers done, new script written (which I’ll be needing soon anyway to keep drawing) and planning out the funding campaign. Some of my favourite scenes are coming really soon and I owe it to the project to put any extra time they need into them. To sum up, this extra time will go to rest up my mind, to get inspiration and to work in all these different areas without having the pages constant deadline to meet.

I made this decision two days ago, and right after taking the first breath of relief, I did something I hadn’t done for a long time: I drew something other than pages, something just for fun. I drew this:

resting

We all need to step back sometimes and catch our breath to come back stronger.

So, see you all in a month! I’ll keep hanging around twitter and hopefully I’ll be posting updates on how the work is going. Thank you for your understanding! <3
